Nice, quality straight edge/ square. Easy to hold when marking small mortise for hinges. Fits easily into pockets on apron. Checked for 90 degree and is dead on. Only concern is that corners are sharp and can cut finger when reaching into pocket. Other than that, great product.

This is what you need for your Miter & Table saw for quality precision cuts. Yes you can do it without one but this will save you so much time and not waste so much material trying to dial it in.

I like it, it's square and hasn't come loose

Finally, an inexpensive machinist square that's true to its 90 degree purpose. The Groz machinist square is accurate enough for me to set saw the square on my table and miter saws, as well as test *other* squares for accuracy. Very pleased. It's not stainless steel, however, I haven't had any problem w/ rust, and it's located in a non-air-conditioned shop.

Well it seems square. I will continue evaluating that. Bummer that it does not come with a case. I missed that part. I would have much preferred to have bought a competing square that came with a case. That was my mistake.

Took a risk given the mixed reviews. The set I received was perfectly square against each other with no bends in the metal. Checked against another square to confirm they all were not equally off…which would be quite hard to do. I saw some complaints about rusting. Not an issue for what I am doing. Put a paper towel in the box as desiccant.

The small one is perfect for my woodworking and guitar making projects. I use a more expensive "Guaranteed Square" Incra square for setting up jigs and power tool blades and fences. I've also tested the Incra by the double line method and with a digital protractor to be dead square. I also have a machinist block that shows both squares and as square. As shown in the photos, this little square is dead on square.Mine just had some easily-removed light shipping grease. No scratches, dings or manufacturing defects.

Checked it by holding it against a straight edge of a sheet of plywood and striking a line, then flipping it over and striking another line and then finally measuring the distance between the two lines with digital calipers and yes, it's square! For woodworking this is a great value for the cost, love it!

As a hobbyist as a machinist wanted to have precision Square, I decide to order GROZ square set. At first I order the general propose, machinist, square and personally for my needs wasn’t good enough. The quality in the squareness was not there save you some trouble order this one there’s only three in this set, but it worth the money. Since there’s a place in that package for the 3 inches square I decide to order one from the same company and precision to make sure my kit is complete. As you can clearly see in the picture. Even with the bright flashlight in backlight, you almost don’t see right through the square.

It's a square, not much to say. Seems very well made and has some heft to it. I underestimated how small 4 inches was and I'll be getting the larger one from Groz
