Exactly what we needed. Holds shin guards in place and thin enough to not be too hot. Velcro can snag them, so you need to be careful with throwing them into your bag next to shin guards that may have velcro.

Bought these for over the hard field hockey shin guards. Colors were true to description - we bought the blue, navy and white. Reason for these over the others - no seam on the foot. The elastic/poly seam always provided some sort of blister - these are SO much better
