Not sure how to rate this because I’m tryimg to use it on a different style easel than it mentions and it just isn’t working out for me. The balance of it seems to stay tipped forward too much and it’s not large enough to hold the number of brushes I like to have accessible. Having said that tho, it would likely do far better on the style easel it was designed for and for someone who doesn’t use larger brushes.

I tried hanging this on my guerilla pochade box with no luck. Maybe it works on a different kind of box? But wouldn't you think it would work on mine since it's the same brand? Evidently the inventor didn't think this through? Like they didn't think their umbrella through? Or their tripod? This company needs to iron out a few glitches.

It's nicely constructed, but takes up a lot of space if you try to put it in a medium pachade. It only fits in the larger areas where you might want to put tubes of paint instead, and if you have a roll of towels hanging off the box there really isn't much room to hang it. Money would be better spent elsewhere.

I think it is a great item to have if you are using regular size watercolor or oil/acrylic brushes. Well made, handy, and does the job. Nice addition to pochade box set up. My only complaint is that I have a nice new set of travel bristle brushes and even when out and extended, the brushes barely peek out of the holder. I am planning to find something to stick in the bottom of this so my brushes will be adequately easy to see and reach for. The brush will hold quite a few brushes even though it is narrow and will be easily packed in my bag. I'm glad I got it but I will have to do something about the depth of it, to make it work for me. Besides the GP cigar box pochade, I also have a large Sienna pochade box and this brush caddy does fit on it as well.
