I do cat rescue. I use this for those occasions where I need to transport neonatal kittens. It's the perfect size for those fragile babies under 2 lbs. I prefer this rather than having them in a regular carrier.

I actually got this to bring my new puppy home on the plane. It was totally TSA approved and I loved being able to see my little guy at all times. The down is great, the zipper and fabric quality are great! Is very sturdy and comfortable. Great design!

Nice little carrier! Took me a while to figure out the base, but it extends over the zippers a bit. It's spacious enough that a cavy or two will fit comfortably. I like the roll up flap! When rolled down it should help the cavies feel safe. Once you've arrived somewhere, you could roll it up to let them see their surroundings.I'm a little nervous about how easy the base will be to clean, but I'll find out soon!

I could not get the 2nd floor insert (black one) to fit bottom..It's bigger than floor and does not have rounded corners Iike carrier bottom..so it's useless..

I've rescued my share of wild animals... baby opposum, birds, a squirrel I saw someone hit... during these times, time is of the essence and, up until now, I've always had to scrounge for something quickly. Let me tell you... a squirrel waking up and panicing in your car in a makeshift cage can be an unsettling thing when you're driving at 50 mph and are worried it'll escape. LOLSo, yeah... I had to get this. And it's PERFECT. Plenty of air, nice and secure, sturdy bottom. I really like that one side has a roll down cover to block out some visibility and light. I wish you could do it all around. Some animals really do better in the dark as far as stress goes. But you can always cover this with a towel.Only thing I think I should add... while the breathing holes are very convenient, depending on the animal, it can also escape though those holes. (If you have a hamster, I'd guess you've dealt with this more than once) So, guinea pig - yes. But hamster? I'd really caution against it.Overall, I love this product. but just be aware of the exit routes available to the smaller critters. ;-)I hope you liked my review. I always try really hard to write reviews are are candid, honest, and helpful for your shopping decisions. No AI here... all the poor writing is mine and mine alone! :-P

I was looking for something to use with my hamster that would be easy to carry and keep him comfortable. I am glad to have found it with this carrier. It looks like a purse, making it possible to carry with me at the store if I need to do a quick run.

Got this hoping it would be big enough for both my guinea pigs, and this is perfect!! I normally have them in my apartment at school but when we go home for breaks, I bring them with. This case has made it soooo much easier to transport them! I think they prefer it too! The carrier is super lightweight and easy to carry, even comes with a shoulder strap if you prefer. Great for small animals!
