I bought this and the hay feeder for my new cage, and I love the way that it looks! It holds the perfect amount of feed at a time and I know that my pigs won't overeat this way. I like to pour the food into the middle of the feeder and let the piggies kind of move it around and disperse it, and I haven't had too much of any issue with spills on the sides-- my piggies will usually still eat the small amount that goes over. I really like how stable this feeder is-- impossible to knock over unlike my old bowl which somehow always had bedding and poop in it or was flipped over. Great!

I love the way this looks and how my guineas stand over it to eat. There is one major design flaw though and that is that both ends are entirely open. This leads to the pellets being pushed to the ground and piled up beneath the feeder because they slide out the sides- which defeats the purpose of having a feeder. If the sides just had a small lip to prevent this or an optional side piece to add to the sides it could be fixed. I was so disappointed when I realized most of the pellets were ending up on the cage floor.

Chippy says he approves!Super easy to put together, didn't need instructions. A breeze to clean. I picked this one over the clear version because of the sides. It looked like the food would just fall out with the clear one.

I may have to add another photo that is closer to the item but it was easy to put together and install. We shall see how well it works soon!

I don't know what they had in mind when designing this, it's shape is unwelcoming towards Guinea pigs, and food will constantly fall off the sides.

This looks amazing with the cage that goes with it, but we don’t use it for the pellets because they either get stuck in the little slots at the bottom or fall right through the bottom or out of the sides because it isn’t fully closed in. It’s better used for larger treats.

I don’t have side parts for blocking foods.the food always dropped down the floor.
