I am so pleased to be able to find Gulf Wax. I have used it in the past for many projects, but the usual sellers had stopped carrying it. Thanks to the seller using Amazon, I will be a regular customer.The wax being in 4 individual sections makes it easier to do smaller projects without tying up the melting pot should you want to use colored wax, for example.Gulf wax is a great product and, I highly recommend it.

This item is getting very hard to find. I use when I make buckeye candy. Typical candy melts don’t melt smoothly. I use this with chocolate chips or white chocolate chips and it helps the chips melt perfectly.

I used a 1lb package, dropping it into a cheap slow cooker to wax pot a pair of chrome covered humbuckers. I thought I'd get away with using half a pound of wax, but even with the small sized pot I used, I needed the whole 1lb to do the job. It's much smaller than I thought it was going to be, but a pound is a pound. It comes in a paper pack with a stack of 4 thin quarter pound bricks. It has no smell and it didn't smell funky at all when it melted. I'd use it again.
