This small space dehumidifier works great. It keeps the space slightly warm and nice and dry. Just plug it in and keep it away from anything flammable, can't get easier than that. Definitely worth the price to keep things dry and not rusting. I definitely recommend.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Installed in minutes and has been working great since install (6 mos ago). Generates modest heat (as advertised) and keeps humidity levels low.

Good product. Almost 3 years and still works, can feel the slight warmth from it, it's not designed to get hot it's designed to get warm and just burn off moisture have it in my gun safe and all is good

Exactly as replaced from a many yr old golden rod, that finally is deceased!! (RIP),,, direct replacement & seems nice & warm to touch. 59 degrees inside cabinet, @ 50% humidity. Seems great! Time will tell, while hoping for the best!

When building a cabinet to house deeply sentimental items humidity control is a must. This style rod and a dessicant pack should keep things happy . Vendor was communicative and the product works as hoped. I wrapped tape around the exposed wire but that's just me.

The 18 inch has about a 5 degree rise in temp, 12inch has 2 degree rise.

We live in an RV and moisture from humidity can be an issue. These can be used behind furniture and other places that air may not circulate well and moisture can be an issue. They’re safe close to walls and furniture and are good value, easy to install.
