This dent puller was recommended by another potter for dipping mugs in glazes. (Wax resist applied to the bottom of the mug, and the dent puller then suctioned on so you can hold the mug upside down and dip into a bucket of glaze). I have tried other brands and they never hold, resulting in the piece falling off and breaking. Love it and highly recommend for this purpose. No idea how well it works for actual car dents!

I bought this for glazing pottery. I was so excited when it worked on candles and bowls at home. But when I took it to the studio it wouldn’t work on even lightweight mugs and bowls. It works fantastic on smooth finished surfaces, but it does not work for my purpose.

Released a pottery cover and it smashed on the floor. Did not hold. Concept is great but needs some work.
