Sturdy and well styled to hold hand soap, dish soap and sponge (on its side). It does have small raised ridges on the bottom for damp areas near sink, but we decided to add silicone feet to prevent accidentally knocking it into the sink.

Look at measurements to make sure they fit your needs -- they definitely fit ours! The extra depth, heft, and dimensions of this pair (one 12" and one 7") are perfect. The larger one holds hand dish-washing liquid, scrubbers, sponge, and a dispenser of hand soap. It fits perfectly between sink and dishrack. The higher lip means that sponge can be held at tilt to dry, and the flat inner bottom means that no water pools as in another tray we tried. The width is great, catches all the drips, and there is no more wet mess by the sink. And the smaller tray -- also with good lip and flat inner bottom -- is perfect for holding large pepper grinder and salt on the table. No more mess on the table or counter to roll my eyes about -- and no more damage to the wood table. I am so happy, and wish we'd gone for these first rather than trying other options.

It is a beautiful marble tray that happens to be perfect for what I intended it to be…. Use it for whatever suits you, I use it to organize pill bottles and vitamins so that they are not all over my cabinets, this way when I have company I just pick up the tray and put it in a closet so that my counter top is free from clutter…..

We needed something to corral a few items we like to keep handy by the bathroom sink and this is a nice shape and size for us and the color blends in with our bathroom counter. It can easily be stashed in a cabinet if you want the counter clear and keeps all the desired items together. I can see a million uses for this handy tray. I did add four little silicone "dots" on the bottom just to ensure it would not scratch---because it is pottery and could mar a surface.....either that or I am overly picky, but either way, I like this tray very much. It holds true to the seller's description. Check the size for your needs as it is not overly large or deep.
