Magnet is strong. It is just what I needed to retrieve an 18mm wrench that had fallen into a narrow void.The 28" long small diameter cable attaching the handle to the magnet is very robust.

I suppose they are okay, but didn't with for what I wanted. I had dropped a screw down a bathroom sink and was hoping the smaller one would snake down there easily to retrieve it. However, these are much stiffer than I expected. While they do bend if you manually bend them, they are not flexible to bend inside a pipe on their own.
