The guitar pictured is a Epiphone coronet. It’s the Chinese built guitar, for $450.00 bucks. This brass nut fits unbelievable!!!All I needed to do to get it to fit was very little work. I’ve bought others in the past. And they were horrible sanding filing. Over and over. The pic showed I’m waiting for glue to dry then a little string slot fitting and done. Maybe 30 minutes total time. I highly recommend this guitar nut if you’re interested in Brass nuts. They’re very lively and harmonic. Rock on.

This is polished, heavy, pre-slotted, and IT'S NUTS!!! By nuts , I mean, it will fit more than just a Gibson LP guitar. It will , fit Electra brand, fits Harley Benton DC -580 like it was made for it, and with a bit of filing, to thin down the distance , between the fret board and the headstock veneer (slot), it will fit an '61 SG Gibson. It does require a little tweaking of the nut slot height. But that's to be expected , as no guitars are the same. Not even the same brands. And different players, require different specs., for their style of playing. The string spacings are right on, for the above mentioned instruments. And for several other LP style guitars. But spacings are different for guitars with a shorter nut width. I.E. Walmart's FIRST ACT LP MODEL....I don't know about First Acts custom shop guitars. All in all, a good buy. ..I've fashioned my own , from brass blanks and stock. It's a long tedious process. This is basically a (plug and play) item. Rock On!

Just made a huge difference with my PRS S2. Really brightened up the guitar tone. Required a bit of filing due to its width and thickness. Needed to do a lot of filing to bring down the height as well. It is not a quick process, as the brass is a lot tougher than I thought. Definitely worth the effort though.

I put this on my 02 Gibson SG Crescent Moon and it adds so much flavor. Now, I DID have to sand it down to make it the correct height, but if you have a belt sander, piece of cake.

Poorly machined, not square. I had to spend over an hour to finish the job.

I got this to see how a brass nut would make my LP Custom sound. Generally not a huge difference, maybe a little bit brighter. The reason I am leaving this at 3 stars is it is not squared off correctly. When looking at the top of the one I received (so looking at the string slots) it is thicker on the 1st string side than the 6th string side on the rear edge (the side which faces the tuners). It's not a huge deal but it means the slot looks like it was cut poorly as one side is properly fit in the nut slot while the other side leaves a gap. Filing it so it is square would just leave a gap between the nut and the face of the headstock/truss rod cover area. The side which goes against the fretboard is fine, though, so I left it as is.This was a direct fit drop in replacement, other than not being square. It serves its purpose but I'll probably get a different brand to see if the QC is any better. For the time being, it's installed, it works, it does what it does, and other than the flaw in its shape it seems pretty well made.

This isn't a drop-in part. I wasn't expecting one so I wasn't disappointed. The angle of the bottom of the nut was a little off and was rough, but filing got it right and also brought the strings to a reasonable height. It was also a little long but again, some filing took care of that. After setting the string depth it was all good. Whatever alloy they used is surprisingly hard but I expect that to last a time. String spacing was on the money, and it sounds great. Also saved me about an hour from if I had started from a blank. I'll probably buy a bunch.

This brass nut looks good on a guitar and gives a nice edge to the sound. No problems with fitting.

This brass nut added so much to the sound of my guitar; I am truly impressed! First, I had bought a few dollar cheaper nut that turned out to be so poorly made I considered it a factory reject; it would have taken hours of work with luthier files to fix. This nut has: great tolerances, good string slots, the right height, and easily polished!

Klare Kaufempfehlung.
