I had a Mexican Stratocaster with gold hardware except the string tree, which was a silver color and not in good condition.I replaced it with one of the trees in this 2-pack and now it looks better. It was as simple as unscrewing the old one and screwing the new one in. I don't perceive any difference in tuning stability or nut slip.Note: I thought I was buying a two-pack of identical string trees and that I'd have a spare. However, this 2-pack is two different heights, for use on guitars that have two string trees, holding D, G, B, and E strings down. My guitar only had a string tree on the B and E strings, so I just used the shorter tree from this pack.It did what I needed, it was inexpensive, and it looks good. I wish I had understood that I was getting two sizes but I'm willing to blame my ignorance for that.

I bought the chrome string trees. The plating is nice. I placed them on a 2012 Squier Standard Stratocaster. I used my old height spacers instead of the ones that came in the package because both of mine are the same height. The ones in the package come with 1 longer and 1 shorter spacer. I used the screws that came in the package because my stock screws diameter was too large to fit in the hole of the tree. I would definitely buy these again. These trees are not roller type trees but a smoother surface than my old style wing nut type of string tree. I put a dab of Vaseline on the tree before installing.

It is a great replacement for the Fender string tree. A classy look.

Die Schrauben haben leider ein zu grobes Gewinde und drehen sich aufgrund geringer Materialqualität schnell rund. Ich hoffe dies beschränkt sich auf die Schrauben.

The old ones on my guitar were T type and rusted - the rust caused string abrasion and breakages. These new ones have a smooth surface and the strings move freely under them (although I wouldn’t call them ‘rollers’) and fit the guitar perfectly. The guitar had two string trees already so this was a straight swap

Swapped out my old string trees for these I think they look better and function better I was going to use my original screw's but opted to use the ones provided good value for money
