Ok, so I have these 2 battery boxes in the bed of my pickup which I often have to lift in and out from the side. Each has a protruding battery disconnect which will eventually break if I'd done nothing. These attractive lightweight shock absorbing (door protector) boards did just the trick! Each protrudes perfectly to protect the red rotary battery disconnects. And without adding any real additional weight! They're extremely effective and bump resistant enough to easily fulfill their "normal" function in any garage. The foam they're made of is not easily compressed when meeting an object in motion. And the wood looks exactly real. I don't know how they make them, as the exterior woodgrain is both extremely tough and completely resistant to being peeled off in any way. The adhesive. Well, long story short, I had to completely remove one about 15 minutes after putting it onto the, I believe, ABS plastic my battery boxes are made of. I'm a huge, strong guy. It took all my strength and around 10 to 15 minutes to carefully peel it back off. I managed to not damage it either! And in fact, was able to reapply it successfully too on the opposite side of the box! I then placed weights on each overnight to make sure the reapplied one still held. It definitely appears to be doing so! I had planned on just epoxying real wood onto the side of each box. But these weigh almost nothing and look exactly like already finished wood, and with strong adhesive already applied. Plus, they're shock absorbing. Which is exactly what my project required. Take my word for it, at least applied to plastic like this you really don't want to have to remove one again! It'll definitely put up a fight. For my needs, these were absolutely perfect and I feel very fortunate to have come across them. They really work exactly as they should and are extremely tough while still being aesthetically pleasing. I received 2 of them for free (see the attached pictures) under the Amazon Vine Program in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. So really, and no kidding; Here's my entire review, in only a single sentence:"I would DEFINITELY BUY them all over again with my own money!"

These are pretty good , ordered them for garage to avoid dinging car doors but did not match white wall so used it for other purpose for similar functionality inside kitchen cabinet to avoid delicate glassware hitting walls. Its EVA material and self adhesive fiberglass mesh backing. Sticks well little short in length and matches cedar wood finish glad ordered 6 pcs. Little pricey and had some issue it took off some wall paint but still like these blocks for high versatility in woodgrain finishing !

Realistic wood look! I have black versions of these that I have used for multiple purposes, but these are really Nice looking! The wood look is quite realistic, seriously several times since recieving them I've seen them in the workshop and in the house & I'm wondering what is this wood over here , only pick it up and discover -omg it's that cool foam bumper wood! So, yes I like this. Its attractive with a select board look (like the 1x wood in the shelving board aisle at lowes). The adhesive is strong and it has stuck very tightly to both wood and metal where I used them. They are true to size , durable and provide great protection for walls and doors. They install in minutes and are thick enough to actually cushion ,absorb shock and protect from items that are not necessarily flat- plenty of thickness to handle blows from uneven objects without damaging the object or the wall underneath the foam. The fact that they look so nice is great for areas where appearance matters. Love them and would definitely order and recommend!

Not sure what the use would be as I found this like compressed foam with a cover to make it look like real woodCannot see this supporting and mounted weight

This foam panel is very dense EVA, which is a dense, firm, finely-grained closed cell foam. EVA has a rubbery feel, not the plastic or sponge texture of foams you might encounter as packing material. It can be cut or trimmed with a razor blade. The panels are true to the listed dimensions. The fake wood grain is perfectly adequate, not unlike the what you'd expect on a folding table (pictured upon one for comparison). This foam seems stiffer than a similar product also by garagesmith (www.amazon.com/dp/B0DMNBTG5V); in my first photo I am pressing as hard as I can and only reached about 1/4 of the way into the material. I'm very pleased with that; it means it will actually resist an impact from the edge of a heavy car door, protecting it.

I was intrigued by how realistic these looked in the listing photos and decided to try them.Well, they do not disappoint. The surface is very soft to the touch and while it is foam, it isn't super squishy - it can easily withstand the bump of a car door. The backing seems fairly sticky. Time will tell how well it holds.I like the product's sversatility and have several ideas on where to use these.Would recommend.

It is a little shorter in length than I would prefer but it definitely stops door dings in our garage.

These wall protectors are made of a flexible material that can withstand a car door opening into it without issue. There are two pieces, both of which use double-sided tape to adhere them to the wall of the garage. They look like wood, which is a nice add. So far, they have stayed on the wall without issue. I cleaned the wall with isopropyl alcohol before connecting these to make sure the was clean of dirt and oil. This is a nice idea to protect my garage walls and to protect my car doors!
