Since installing this protector, the car door has maintained a safe distance from the wall, completely avoiding scratches and scrapes. Its material is soft and elastic and can effectively absorb impact. It again protected my car door from any damage when I parked recently. The installation is simple and the effect is remarkable, it is definitely worth buying.

Was an easy install. Wipe surface with Alcohol, let dry and apply. Comes rolled up so let it flatten out a while in a warm room to aid in install. Is about a 1/4" thick so protects the door and wall well. It's 2 rolls of 8" wide material, so plenty options for doors that hit in multiple places like my 9th Gen Honda Accord.

It does exactly what it is intended to do. So far it has been a bit more than 1 week since we installed this product but it is holding up as far as adhering to the wall of our garage.

I am very satisfied with my purchase! I used to be afraid that the car door would hit the garage wall every time I parked my car, especially when the garage space was limited. After installing this protector, the car door no longer scrapes the wall, and the protection effect is very good. The material is very durable, and the installation is also very simple, fixed firmly, and will not fall off easily!

My garage space is quite tight, and I am always worried that the car door will scratch the wall when I park. After installing this protector, it not only prevents the car door from scratching the wall, but its cushion design also makes the car door safer. The installation is also very simple, just s

Great quality and easy to Apply. Adhesive is very good and durable for drywall garage but immediately had issue of the foam sticking to its own adhesive backing.

This protector solved my long-standing problem! My garage space is small, and every time I park my car, I am always worried that the car door will hit the wall. Since installing this protector, the car door has been well protected from scratches or bumps. It is very easy to install and the protection effect is very good. It is worth buying!

Garage Planet H1 Garage Wall Protector ReviewSOMEBODY in our household cannot keep herself from banging the garage wall whenever she opens her truck doors while unloading groceries. I was going to hang some wooden strips along the wall but never got around to it.Then I saw this product and I thought I'd give it a try, even though they do not recommend using it on textured drywall—which is what I have in my garage (as do I imagine, so do 90% of all garages in the USD).I laid out a light pencil horizontal top line and determined a start and stop point. The existing damage was just slightly wider than two of these strips so I laid them out—one on top of the other—to cover the majority of the dings.I should have given more thought to cutting around the outlet on the wall, so I do not have very attractive results. But hey, it's a garage!I am happy so far with the results, but time will tell how long it holds up to being bashed over and over each week on shopping day.Installation notes:- I took the time to wipe down the wall with isopropyl alcohol. If your wall is actually really dirty, you will want to wash it down first and let it dry completely before wiping it down with the alcohol.- Be sure and draw a guide line on your wall. Once this adhesive comes in contact with the surface that's it. So, there's no do overs. You gotta get it right the first time!- If you do have to butt ends—be advised—the ends as the come from the factory may not be perfectly square (mine were not). Trim your own ends while using a square or they may not fit tight to each other. A sharp utility knife works great for cutting this material. My only real complaint is that the backing sheet is really thin and difficult to get started peeling. It repeatedly tore when I was starting out, (but before I actually was in the process of applying the foam material to the wall). So I'd have to get an edge of the backing sheet lifted again and be more careful the next time. You have to pull the backing sheet carefully while you are pressing the top edge of the protector against the wall surface so you can do so under control. You don't want to have to stop and have to deal with getting the backing sheet started peeling in the middle of the job. And watch that guide line carefully. The material is so long that it is easy to drift off your intended mark. The material is stretchy enough that you can fudge things a tiny bit. But better to keep right on top of your line to begin with.Even though my drywall was lightly textured, the material stuck VERY well. In fact, if I was to try and remove it it would certainly take all the texture with it. So I am hoping it holds up for 20 years!
