These were purchased for my daughter to be able to collect the very important colostrum starting late pregnancy. Anyone who nurses knows the value in this, it had great suction, functionality was super easy.

There are a couple different ways you can collect colostrum prior to giving birth. I found that these collectors were easy to use and you don’t lose any in the collection process. Being that colostrum is liquid gold this is very important! They are easy to store (fridge or freezer) and, once baby arrives, you and can feed them straight from the dropper. Appreciate that they’re silicone.

These were so easy to use and so easy to clean. I was able to easily transfer the collection to a bottle, clean and reuse.

Definitely worth getting, I collected so much colostrum before my baby arrived it was so useful to have while my milk came in, recommend for any breastfeeding new mom.

I wanted to purchase this from Target but saw that it was cheaper at Amazon. I have not used these yet but I am recommending these to my pregnant friends as the small containers look super easy to use. The quality does not look cheap, I also read that they are medical grade and can be placed in the freezer.

Much more convenient then a syringe as colostrum will just drip in I’ve had no issues collecting. I’m 2 weeks from having baby and starting to collect. My reason for collecting now is to make it easier on myself when baby arrives and hopefully less stressful

First time mama here, this haakaa colostrum collection kit was recommended to me by my lovely IBCLC. It's very easy to use to collect hand expressed colostrum. I'm usually able to collect around 1 mL every session with it. I haven't tried any other methods like with syringes, so I cannot compare them, but using the haakaa has been so easy for me that I don't think I'll need to try other methods. Just be aware that when you start approaching the 3 mL mark, be very gentle with the amount of suction you use. If you press too hard, some of your previously collected colostrum may come out. You don't want all your hard work collecting your liquid gold to go out the window!

I absolutely loved these for collecting colostrum before and after having my baby! I’m an over supplier by natural (forever grateful) of colostrum and milk. These work great for collecting colostrum, I would fill them, freeze them, push the colostrum-cicle out and store in breast milk bags in the freezer. Worked like a charm for me! Highly recommend!

This is my second baby, due soon. With the first, collecting colostrum in the little purple syringes was quite difficult but this time I was able to quickly fill in the 4 ml Hakaa syringe. I will sterilise and bring a couple of those to the hospital with me!
