These connectors were high quality and worked very well. The shrinkwrap insulation was an added bonus. I would recommend these for your dc applications.

These are awesome. Far superior to hard plastic insulated style. They seal up around the wire very nicely. I've used a bunch of them on my rewiring project and if you use a proper crimping tool, they really clamp down on the wire securely. Used a heat gun to shrink the insulator, so I don't know how it responds to something like a lighter.

Seem to work fine. I've already used several and have had no issues installing or had any issues with the heat shrink.
