I see some people say a heat gun didn’t work. I used a lighter and evenly heated up the connectors and it worked great. Very right and durable connection.

Seems to be ok. The soldier doesn't seem to melt as fast as I'd like but they do seem to work.

I needed to repair my boat trailer wiring connections and so I bought these. They were easy to use and work great. Just restripped the wires, put them on and heated with a heat gun. Creates a nice waterproof seal.

Great connectors! The solder and adhesive combo makes for a great seal and tight connection. I would suggest putting one wire through the connector all the way first. Then twist together the two wires you are joining. Once twisted, slide the connector back over the twisted section. This makes for a tighter connection and easier to handle while using heat gun. Note: adhesive section and tube melt more quickly then the solder section. Make sure solder is melted too, not just the adhesive ends.

I have used these types of connectors from a few different brands. This brand is the same as others I have purchased online. They have always worked well on 12-volt systems. I like the idea that they seal the wire up and make a waterproof connection. Also, I like how the wires are soldered together over crimping. I have installed many of these connectors and have not had one fail yet.For some reason these are hard to find at brick and motor stores.Only negative to this kit is the storage box. The box is made very thin, and the latch is very poorly made. My box arrived with the plastic latch broken off, while still inside the plastic wrapping.

Worked perfectly for fixing broken electrical cord. Work just fine with lighter to solder joint.

Takes practice to get it to work right. Used a heat gun and it seems hard to know if the solder really melts or not resulting in either under heating or overheating. I thought it would be easier to use than it was. It takes practice. Ultimately the connections worked and all was good.

Sellan muy bien, suelda bien @ 1100 oF con la pistola de aire caliente. Se recomienda practicar antes de reparar para no quemar los cableados a reparar.

Acheté pour connecter du câble audio. Ils sont très pratiques, il suffit de les chauffer un peu et la soudure est faite.Seul bémol, la notice qui pourrait être un peu mieux faite, plus explicative.

I have not yet had the chance to use these, I will update my review when I use them properly.The box arrived without damage. It's not the strongest case but if it survived the post it'll survive me. It appears well organised, with instructions, I can't wait to use them. I will upload a video when I do.
