As mentioned in the header - use the chart the seller provides! I was glad I did as there were two sizes of forked lugs available. Finding a seller that wisely provides full details on their product is the only way to buy on Amazon. I measured my terminal strip and selected the best fit for my application. Lugs fit perfectly. I had no trouble soldering the lugs (I filled the lug opening with melted solder and then while still holding heat to it, insert the wire - fast, perfect connections). So far I have used over 30 of lugs and each one is just like the next - great quality control of the lugs. I have no doubts I'll be back to this seller when I need more.

These connectors are very heavey duty.They do not bend easily like the cheaper ones do.

Got 5/16" size trying to match what I had from a variety pack. Size chart for the variety pack went by the OD (outside diameter) while these went by ID (inside diameter) making them larger than preferred for my use. The wire gauge matches well enough, 22-16 AWG. I got these for making fishing gear so the size may prove less important.

We got a pack of 100 1/4" (that 's ID) lugs for use in our small engine shop. These are a must have for anything that connects directly to the battery, the solenoid, or to an engine ground point, with the exception of the high current starter lead.As others have commented... yes, these are a little thinner than other options, but... they are ten cents a piece. What do you expect? If you are expecting top quality, you are going to need to spend top dollar. If you are just looking for an economical option for something that isn't Space Shuttle Mission Critical... these will work just fine.
