Other hoses melted at their connection to the air pump due to the heat of the pump. This one lasts.

First impression is that this is super heavy duty stuff, better than others like it that I've seen. My only complaint is the way it is wrapped on the spool it arrived on. The last 10 or 15 feet closest to the spool center was wrapped very tightly and/or crushed by the weight of the hose on top of it. I am not sure that last 10 or 15 feet will be useable. So maybe I only got 185 or 190 useable feet. We'll see. Will try to salvage it.
