UPDATE: It's done and works great! Looks nice too!I will be using this as a lift up work surface on the front of my ZGrills Pellet Grill since it didn't come with one and I cannot find one available to purchase. I will have to do some engineering to achieve this function using a pair of lift up locking brackets which will allow me to raise and lower the work surface, but overall I think it will look great and perform the intended function perfectly.

I loved the look of this product and was really excited to receive and install it based on the other reviews. I was sorely disappointed due to a variety of reasons:I opened it to find scratches all over the bottom of the shelf (pic 1) and all over the supports too (pic 2). Luckily I was mounting it in an area where you can't really see it so I let it slide. The shelf supports are not spaced 16 or 32 inches apart (they are spaced ~30 inches apart), which means that it is impossible to mount each bracket to a stud. Therefore, it is impossible to meet the 400lb claimed weight limit when mounting to sheetrock. I ended up using the top flange to put 5 screws into studs hoping that it will hold better. I even built a horizontal wood mount underneath the shelf which I mounted to studs. Even with my additional supports, I wouldn't dare put more than 100lb on this shelf. When I pull my hand on the end of the shelf I can see the metal supports shifting. Not good. When I went to screw on the nuts after finally getting everything up, I was HAND TIGHTENING one of the nuts and the bolt just broke off. I have no idea what they were using to hold the threads onto the sheet metal, but it sure isn't strong. I wasn't even using a ratchet or screwdriver, just my fingers. To top it all off, the finish on the edges was horrible and I had to use steel wool to smooth out some sharp edges or risk getting cut.Overall, I guess you get what you pay for. Next time I'll be spending a bit more money to avoid getting junk.

This is exactly what we needed to go over our carted microwave . It helped us take items off the microwave and take advantage of unused wall space. Easy to install and very durable.

I quite liked this shelf. It installed easily enough, and my only complaint comes from the way it was packaged. Not everything had a protective coating, but I also had difficulty removing it from the things that did, even with a heat gun. There was residue leftover. The support pieces were the parts that got the most scratched. Everything was usable in a normal situation, but I was planning to use this within a clean room. The scratches compromised the integrity of the rust resistant coating, and those parts were thus much more easily oxidized within an environment that uses strong oxidizers while cleaning. This isn't an issue I've had with any of my 304 SS fixtures, so I've learned my lesson. At the end of the day, I just picked up some Rustoleum Appliance Epoxy Enamel, the same stuff you'd recoat a refrigerator with, and I coated it all over. I went ahead and also used the enamel to reinforce how it's secured to the wall and fill every possible crevice. It is now SUPER secure and sturdy. I would not be surprised if it could hold my body weight at this point.

I like the stainless steel sturdiness. The color is professional. These will hang in my kitchen and be used to hold dishes and glassware.

Should use heavy duty anchors to mount it
