My son doesn't like regular cut jeans, as he likes them to fit looser - so these are perfect. The elastic band around the waist allows for movement and some growth. The button is easy for him to manipulate, which is good because he would opt for non-button pants if given the choice. These are a baggy fit, but they don't look sloppy - they look nice. I followed the size guide and these fit him with a bit of room to grow, which is nice for a growing kid. They are the standard denim, so they're not thin and will withstand being outside and playing. They wash nicely without shrinking, and they're durable without any defects in the material or stitchings. Great pants, would recommend.
