My six-year-old boy was down to one rash guard, and it is on its last legs. There is no way it will hold up through another beach/pool season, so I jumped on ordering this model by Haloumoning when I saw it was available. To be honest, I was expecting the quality to be only average at best, considering the shirt was priced at $9.99 at the time of ordering. Surprisingly, the overall construction and feel are much better than I anticipated.This shirt comes in a multitude of color choices. I opted for the ombré royal blue, and, in person, it looks nearly identical to the images shown online. The color is darkest at the neckline and progressively fades as it reaches the waist. My son, who I am pretty sure has only worn white rash guards in the past, proclaimed it, “Very cool looking.†There are some areas where there are minor imperfections in the coloration, but these are primarily at the edges of the shirt.The material is thick and substantial, but my son said the shirt doesn’t feel heavy or bulky when it is on. He also said it was “very smooth†and “not scratchy.†The stitching is pretty well-done around the sleeves as well as the bottom hem. There were some loose threads at the endpoints, but nothing that would result in unravelling. The interior seams are flat as opposed to raised, which is a nice touch. There isn't a tag at the collar, but there is one on the lower side. It could easily be snipped off if it bothered your child.The overall fit is pretty good. Other brands, despite fitting well in the body, often have a head opening that is too small, which results in my son's head getting stuck every time he tries to put it on. This shirt does not have that issue, which is a relief. It has a loose, relaxed fit without being baggy. The sleeve length is perfect on my son, but the overall length just barely works (he is 48"). I expect him to outgrow if after this year.It is still winter here, so we haven't tested this in the pool or ocean yet. Thus, I will update this review if any issues arise after consistent use.

We wanted something for our grandson to wear to the pool or waterparks for an upcoming vacation. We wanted something that would offer some sun protection and that would be quick drying. While we have not been able to use it in that kind of environment yet, it should be up to the job. The shirts fits well and is nicely constructed. The fabric is light and “stretchy.†His favorite color is blue, and he really likes the blue gradient colors.

I ordered this rash guard for my picky 12-year-old, who’s on the larger side (over 100 pounds), and the size 13-14 (XL boys) fit him perfectly.The fabric is soft and comfortable, which is a big win for him, and it dried quickly after swimming at the beach. The color is true to the pictures, and the stitching looks solid, so I’m optimistic it will hold up to regular use. Overall, great shirt and I’d definitely consider getting another one!

I love the bright colors on this shirt and the ombre effect. It seems like a great value for the money because it was a thicker material but not too thick where your child feels cold when it’s drying out. It was easy to wash and my son thought it was so comfortable that he wore it the rest of the day. He wanted to wear it to sleep. He loved it so much. I like that it was a little looser fit so it’s just a great as a regular shirt or a rash guard.

I got this swim top for my son who is turning 4 . It fits nicely and not too snug so sizing is accurate . It’s soft and stretchy as well . The fabric is great quality ! The best part is the. Right colors which is ideal for being easy to spy . This will be used so many times this summer season.

This cute and colorful shirt makes our little boy look so handsome and happy! The color is very vibrant, the material feels strong, and he seems comfortable when wearing it (he's outspoken enough to complain if it was otherwise). And for such great price (10 bucks at this time), this just can't be beat ... absolutely love it!
