This cardstock is stiff and thick with clean edges and a smooth satin-like finish on both sides and is bright white. It you want to tear it, it will tear easily, but it doesn't show dents or tears if handled normally.Colors show up true on this cardstock. I tried markers of different colors and some with a brush end. I tried stamping a figure using water-based ink and the images came out clean and sharp and true to the color I used. I also tried to draw a heart-shaped figure with acrylic paint and that worked well.I wanted to print pictures with an inkjet printer but this paper was too thick for my printer. I did drop a full drop of water-based ink on the paper to see what would happen. The color did penetrate all the way through and it spread to about twice its size. It did not make a fuzzy edge around the edges which I thought was great. If you want a clean looking picture drawing or clean writing using water-based inks or markers, you will like this paper.

I've been having a hard time finding thick/stiff cover stock paper in stores, so tried this "sight unseen" from Amazon to use for some crafting projects (game cards, boxes, tokens). The paper was pretty much exactly what I expected... decently thick (I think it's around 0.4mm) and relatively stiff. For a few projects where I needed thicker/stiffer paper (e.g. as an alternative to chipboard) I just glued two sheets of this together which worked great. It did go through my Brother laser printer (even though the printer says not to use more than 48# weight paper) and the result looked good, though a little less detailed than normal printouts. Instead I've switch to printing on full-sheet shipping labels and then adhering the labels to this paper, which results in a much cleaner print. Given the good price (especially for the 200-sheet pack) I'll probably be buying this from now own.

This paper rates 96 in brightness. There is a noticeable difference between the 98 and the 96 from this company. The 98 is stark white. This 96 paper is a softer white which I actually prefer. Although 100lb weight, it easily cuts clean with my inexpensive Fiskars paper cutter. And slides smoothly in my Canon inkjet printer.

I don't print on card stock often, so I appreciated that this came in it's own cardboard box to protect it from the ravages of time & also make it easy to find when I need it.The paper was in great shape, bright white with crisp flat edges. I have an ancient HP LaserJet 2200 TDN printer & it had no problem printing on this.Highly Recommended!

My home laser printer choked on this paper. Tried to manual feed and it still choked. Oh well, I had to try and I have plenty of uses for cardstock this high a gsm. Most of the pages have smears of some brown/black on one side which is weird. I can cover it up/will usually be painting or gluing over it but bummer if you wanted a pristine white page with some elegent writing. Depends on your usage.
