I gifted this to a young man who enjoys cooking. He had never used a slow cooker, but now he uses this frequently. It's just the right size for 1-3 people, depending on what you're cooking. Great for making side dishes that serve 4-8.

I purchased this crockpot for my mother for her birthday and she absolutely loves it. I've actually started to use it myself. The quality is amazing it works perfectly. The price is great for the quality. It cooks very well and is light weight. It's a simple nice white design and it cooks all of our dishes perfectly. There's two heat levels just high and low but the both cook the food thoroughly.

I wanted to replace the crockpot I've had for many years. I didn't realize that they are soooooooooooo expensive these days. When I saw THIS one, I thought to myself "There's GOT to be something wrong with this." It was WAY cheaper than all the others. But something made me try it & I'm soooooo glad I did!First, it matched my fridge. We got a stainless steel fridge recently so nothing matches in our kitchen. The toaster is black, the microwave is black...so I was happy to have a stainless steel crockpot. (even if it IS fake stainless steel...at least it matches!!)I've tried it just once so far. I made beef stew & it turned out delicious! The heating was perfect, it's hecka easy to wash & the inside bowl is very sturdy.My picky husband only had nice things to say about it & that means a lot coming from him. I didn't let him get too close to it though, cuz I didn't want him to see how cheap the outside is. When I picked it up without the bowl inside of it, it felt like it was going to fold in & collapse it's so thin. (It won't REALLY cave in, it's just that it's not heavy or solid like the old crockpots.)But for the great price, I couldn't be happier! Crockpots are expensive now so this meets my needs & beyond. :)

I love this small crockpot! Perfect for just the two of us. Great quality. I wasn't sure is we got everything as the included instructions show items that were not in the box, like the rubber band that hooks under the handles and goes over the lid for transporting. Also the booklet showed an ON light, which we did not get on this model.

Thanks to the other reviewers, I wasn't expecting this to look like the picture - and the one they sent me doesn't. Instead of the black plastic cradle and white finish mine has a stainless finish and black plastic handles: cosmetics are in fact exactly like the Hamilton Beach 5 Quart Classic Chrome cooker that Amazon sells for about $10 more.Nobody in my household is particularly bothered about the look - the stainless is actually pretty classy, but about the (relatively low) heft and apparent quality you'd expect from an appliance that costs under $30. We've been using this thing nonstop since it arrived (3 days faster than Amazon reported it would when we checked out!) and it works exactly as it should. I've worked with slow cookers before where the high temp was just a little too hot and you'd end up with actual burned on food around the rim - no such problems with this one so far, and the "warm" setting has also proved effective at holding the temperature for a couple of hours after cooking without turning beans to complete mush.Size is great for a couple or small family; my only caveat is that most of the slow-cooker recipes you'll find are tuned to a 5 quart cooker, so you'll have to get creative with division if you want to max out the capacity of this 4 quart size. My girlfriend and I usually have about 4 cups/1 liter of leftovers when it's just the two of us (bear in mind that recipes filling the 4 liter capacity will cook down to roughly 2-2.5 liters most of the time), and had exactly enough daal for four when we had friends over the other night. If you don't feel the need for automation and don't need a larger size, this model seems like a great value for the price.

I have been using this slow cooker 1-2x a week for about 3 months now, it works great with chicken breast! It's a great product and super easy to use, the only downfall is there is no light showing the item is on...other than that this item is great and the price point is top notch too!

Ya antes habÃa tenido una olla lenta pero la tapa no ajustaba y era de una buena marca.Esta olla es más grande cumple con su trabajo súper bien, los frijoles quedan inmejorables, el caldo de verduras y la barbacoa.Es una excelente compra y una gran ayuda en la cocina.
