I like the concept, and I like the price and I LOVE the brand. My only complaint is the baskets don't nest when not in use so you perpetually have this steam tower on your counter. I know it shows nesting in the photo, but it doesn't really work out that way - if you look closely only one of the three is nested. I do prefer the dial over the touch screen some of them have, but the non-nesting function I don't care for at all.It works well and I love that it has three separated dishes; I also love the indented "egg holders" for making hard boiled eggs. It's only main drawback is that it's not as compact as it claims when not in use.

I've always been the breadwinner and also responsible for making sure my kids are fed. :-) I am a huge fan of appliances for making it easier. I love my rice cooker, my IP. But having had this for a short time, I'm already using it MORE than either of those, believe it or not! I love how once I've figured out the right amount of time for something, I just set it and forget it. And everything comes out so perfectly done. Steamed potatoes are light and fluffy (we're doing instead of baked or microwaved--just a quick scrub of some large baking potatoes and put them in for 80 minutes and they come out perfectly done).I had stopped having hard boiled eggs, even though we all love them, because they are so hard to peel that I felt like I was wasting half the egg sometimes. Would you believe, steamed eggs are not only always done perfectly, but they are a breeze to peel. You tap the egg on the counter and it feels jiggly inside because it's not clinging to the shell, and you just peel it off. It even works for extremely fresh eggs!I also love that I can plan a meal backwards and then have everything done at once. For example, let's say that you have one thing that needs to go for 60, one for 30, and one for 15. You just start the one that needs to go 60 and set a timer for 30 minutes. Then add the next layer with the one that goes for 30. Then set another timer for 15 minutes. Add the last stuff that needs to go for 15. And 15 minutes later when that's done, everything is done perfectly!How did I live without this thing? It's lightweight so it's easy to store and then get out. It has two little things on the side for pouring in water so you can add more if needed without lifting everything off. It works very simply with a timer so there aren't any fancy parts to break and I'm assuming I'll get to use it for many years.Also, it's BPA free. Someone complained about the plastic but obviously, it's made out of plastic. Would you prefer glass? Stainless steel? I wouldn't! But I'm comfortable with the science backing the safety of this sort of thing.

Good volume, love the numbered trays, very convenient. It cleans up easily and the ability to cook 3 different things in the same cooker at the same time really cuts down on prep time.I was not a fan of poultry, beef or pork cooked from raw in it, but it's great for reheating precooked meat from frozen. Shrimp cooked perfectly in it. Rice is a no brainer in this. I do find heavily seasoned foods tend to leach flavors into foods in the other trays though. Rice picks up the most flavors from other trays.
