I purchased this ball to be my spare ball and it does an awesome job. It is not a reactive ball as it does not have a reactive core. But, it is a Hammer ball, and has a pearl finish on the cover of the ball so the ball has some flare and will hook if you use the right axis rotation and ball speed. This ball would be good for beginners or developing bowlers because of the way it performs and the excellent price. This ball has helped my consistency in picking up difficult 9 and 10 pins.

No, I am not a serious, league bowler. I was whrn I was young. Three leagues a week! Now I am 68 and want to substitute in a senior league this fall. Too many body aches to get into, but I needed a less-heavy ball. This one came at 9.5 pounds prior to getting it drilled locally. I can throw strikes! And this has a nice little hook!I had mine drilled fingertip style. It's really pretty too. I didn't buy top of the line, but this works great for me! If only my body would, I feel much better.😉

Love the color. I got it without holes so I could get it custom done. It is a little on the heavy side for me but I plan to use it for years to come!

I am a newer bowler and needed a heavier ball. I now have 3 balls in some shade of purple. This was a great price compared to the pro shops. Works great.
