After trying/buying 3 other handheld shower heads (two from big box stores and one from this same brand) I FINALLY found one that is perfect for me! This shower head is amazing, it works exactly as it's supposed to work. No, it doesn't have different settings, which is neither here nor there for me as I don't use them, I just like a nice water flow, one that is consistent, full and gets the shampoo out of my hair! Seriously though this shower head is so well made, it is all metal which is what I wanted, it has a great flow, the hose is amazingly flexible and if that's not enough, it even looks good! Oh and it takes about 30 seconds to install!

After years of service my handheld sprayer mount cracked. I had been relatively satisfied with the head itself, but the hose was stiff and the mount was poorly designed so I began my hunt for a new shower sprayer.Hammerhead Showers came up again and again as one to consider and after reading some reviews I decided the higher cost may be worth it long term and made my purchase.It was the right choice to make. The quality was immediately apparent when I opened and inspected the parts.The head itself is simple but appears well thought out and constructed with quality and longevity in mind. The chrome is flawless and weld joints are clean.The mount is solid with again, nice chrome and clean construction. The pivot joint, after tightening it up, holds its position easily with little play. The fit between the assembled sprayer and mount gives a solid assembly with tight tolerances that prevents sloppy wobble or an unconfident mounting yet is easily removed to use the sprayer by hand.The hose is by far the nicest sprayer hose I’ve ever used. With the silicone interior tubing it is the most supple and flexible hose I’ve encountered.The packaging is well thought out and doesn’t use a ton of unnecessary plastic that is both wasteful and frustrating to deal with. Everything is protected well and comes in a compact box. Assembly is easy with clear instructions and spare parts including spray nozzles were you to lose some during use or cleaning, but that shouldn’t be too much of an issue without misuse or mistreatment.The shower experience is everything most people could need. It gives an easily adequate spray pattern with good pressure. It avoids the extraneous extra spray patterns which honestly usually seem like a marketing gimmick rather than a useful addition to a shower experience. I’ve yet to find one that is superior to a basic shower spray pattern like this provides.I am a professional house cleaner and have used a wide variety of shower heads in my work and this one blows them all away, including high dollar luxury brands. It is without question the nicest show head I’ve encountered with the most well thought out design that focuses on the user’s experience and longevity of components.My one tiny issue, and it isn’t even big enough to warrant lowering my rating, is the full pressure of this head with these spray nozzles tends to be a bit needly on my skin. It doesn’t hurt, but it’s a bit much sensory wise, so I picked up an inexpensive chrome shower head pressure regulator that mounts between the head and hose. It allowed me to dial in the pressure to where I like it for the main shower experience but can bump it up to full pressure to wash out my long hair. As an added bonus it reduces total water usage and helps prevent my wimpy hot water heater from going cool during my shower.If you are on the fence because of the price but can swing the purchase, do it. It will probably be the last shower head you’ll ever have to buy.

Very pleased with this purchase! I installed it in 5 minutes. It is quite heavy, thanks to its all-metal construction and will almost certainly last for years. I was prepared to remove the 2.5 gpm flow restrictor but the pressure is excellent as it came, so that saves some extra work. One small nit is that I wish it had slightly more adjustment angle range, but that isn't a deal breaker at all. Happy that it came with some spare nozzles, teflon tape and simple instructions.

This shower head is perfect! First, the spray is very strong, the perfect compliment to a rain shower head. The all metal construction feels substantial and secure. Installation was very easy and we had no problem with leaks. It looks and feels great.

Pros: As it says in the name, this model features all-metal construction (except the shower nozzles, which are silicone), and is relatively straightforward to install. Also, I was able to locate the green 2.5 waterflow restrictor and easily yank it out with a needle-nose pliers, so I can't attest to whether it performs well without it. But pressure is great, and there's a lifetime warranty!Cons: a bunch of minor design omissions kept this from earning 5 stars:1. The water flow has no adjustments whatsoever. Granted, most cheap showerheads have way too many unnecessary and gimmicky flow variations, but I miss having a concentrated flow option.2. There is no pause flow button which reduces the flow to a trickle while you're soaping up. (Having a trickle option rather than a shutoff also keeps the water temperature constant). This is especially curious because having this basic function probably saves more water (and hot water) than the government-mandated flow restrictor.3. The metal handle on the showerhead is thin, smooth and round, with no indentations for your hand/fingers - that makes it slide around in your hand when you're using it to rinse off. (The fact that your hands are likely soapy makes this design omission even worse).4. The slot/holder for the showerhead is metal and so is the showerhead, so it makes a clunky sound every time you reinsert it, and will likely scratch the finish on the showerhead handle in short order. The inside of the slot/holder should be lined with something like rubber or soft plastic.5. While the major component parts are well-packaged and labeled, there are two containers - one a paper envelope and the other a teeny resealable bag - marked "Extra" which have a variety of rubber rings, filters, nozzles etc. which are not labeled (either in the containers or in the instructions). It's a bit ambiguous whether you're supposed to keep all of them for future use, or whether you're supposed to use some of them for the initial assembly/installation. I eventually figured it out, but it could very easily be made clearer. They could at least label each form of "extra" part in the instructions and state where in the unit they go.6. The instructions do not make it clear how to tighten/loosen the portion of the showerhead holder that swivels. When I first installed the unit, I could not get it to stay in any position except pointing down. I eventually figured that out as well. It's not like the manual is written in broken English - it's otherwise very clear.

This shower head is simple and beautiful, with incredible water pressure, and well worth the extra cost. Also, I appreciate that it came with extra pieces and plumber’s tape, was super easy to install, and didn’t have any annoying impossible to open packaging. I already ordered another one for the other shower. Thank you for this quality product!

Best value I could find on Amazon on brushed nickel finish. Installed easily, and looks good. Simple and easy to follow instructions (which I didn't use: done this chore a few times over the years!😋) Pressure limiter easily removed (we're on a well, so pressure pretty low anyway, and not metered, so a good spray is more important to me than a few cents per shower.) Good pressure. Good value: seems like it will last a long time.

I couldn't be more pleased with this product! This is the third showerhead that we've had to purchase since moving into our current residence 7 years ago. That may not sound like a terrible lot with how common planned obsolescence is these days, but we're kind of sick of it. We visited all the usual suspects looking for a completely metal handheld shower head. We even agreed to pay substantially more than we had in the past, if we had to, but no one even carried any! If we wanted an entirely metal unit from anyone we'd have to get a much more involved system than something we only had to screw in to the pre-existing plumbing. We rent and weren't really looking for the hastle. We were looking for something built to last, easy to install, and easily removable. Special bonus points if it didn't have to break our bank! I finally decided to cave and look online, since clearly I wasn't going to be enjoying a shower with my fancy new shower head that day. Success! This item popped up, and the reviews were promising. I looked up the company, and was impressed. Then I saw the price! This cost less than the chromed plastic pieces at all the stores! I decided to go ahead and order it, thinking I would get a second to replace our other washroom's incredibly basic showerhead if it was a success. Now, I'm afraid I've been evangelized. I'm seriously concerned that I may become one of *those* people, you know- the ones who love something so much they buy it in bulk and gift one to everyone?It's not lightweight like a plastic unit, but it's not heavy either. When holding it, it feels smooth, yet substantial, and the warm water heats the metal as it flows through it, which is kind of uniquely pleasant. The water flow feels like being caught in a warm, heavy summer rain, which I'm kind of in love with.As for cons, you could nit pick a few things. The handle doesn't screw in to be flush with the hose, nor does the hose screw in to be flush with the metal fixture that you screw into the shower's existing pipe. That being said the shower fixture itself, as well as the metal hose are both extremely well made and nothing leaks or drips anywhere.This piece is not a luxury item but well machined, and of exceptional quality. Basic and built to last. I love it, and hopefully, you will too.

I just installed this Hammerhead Chrome METAL shower head/wand/hose and we are finally at peace.- all metal parts, no junky plastic crap, no parts to get worn- price is extremely FAIR. At least half or less than boutique shops- lovely modern aesthetic design- excellent designed water flow- removable water restrictor- amazing flexible and light weight chrome hose (best I've ever seen)- includes clear instructions and plumbers Teflon tapeAfter my wife successively bought and returned 3 various shower head systems this last week from local suppliers at almost the same cost as this Hammerhead, we are finally satisfied. Quality components and likely not to break anytime soon. The others we bought were an INSULT to consumers and families. Even some of the high end bath and decor stores are practicing selling garbage products that can easily break during installation.This shower head package deserves my full gratification via this review. Hats off Hammerhead.BTW...I water flow seems better than ever to me...but I can see that if I wanted to push the envelop, I could easily drill out a wider opening. The design lends itself to doing this easily. I've done this with other setups and they were far more difficult.

Beautiful and solid design, has just a touch less pressure than would be preferable, but is still plenty enough to be a pleasant shower experience. Only issue is the design choice to 'restrict' the flow with the strange narrowing of the handle right before the chamber behind the nozzles. Feel like this tiny adjustment (Why not make it even to the head?) reduces the pressure of the water just a touch, which creates a sort of weakened rainfall effect.Other than that tiny issue (Of which most will be fine with, may even prefer, so don't let review detour you) this is an amazing shower system. All pieces were included, assembled by hand easily, and the flow constrictor was easily removed, (speaking about the plastic piece in the base of unit, not the one in handle's design)I would 100% recommend this showerhead system to anyone seeking an alternative to buying a new shower every 6 months because that one stupid piece of plastic breaks.Excellent quality and value. (Paid 72 for chrome version)

I was tired of wasting money on the hardware store selection of molded plastic hand held showers that cracked and leaked in a matter of months.This is a great quality shower fixture. It was easy to install, made of all metal parts, and provides strong, even water pressure across the entire shower head. I highly recommend!
