This hammock and stand set is great! It's really really big (long) so it takes up a lot of space (I have it set up in my living room right now because I wanted to test it out when it came in) but it's very sturdy and strong. The frame took about 10mins or so to set up by myself. It would've been about half that time if someone else were helping. It's really simple to put together as well. The frame comes in 5 pieces with 4 knob screws and 2 hooks to hold the hammock up. There are multiple holes/notches in the frame so you can adjust the hooks, and therefore the tension, of the hammock. At the highest notch by butt touched the floor when I got in. The next notch down kept me off the floor but sill pretty low (good for anyone who might have trouble getting in and out of it; kids, older people, pregnant people, etc.). I found out that I like it at the 3rd or 4th notch down so that I'm kept pretty high up when in the hammock. Especially when there are two people in it. It definitly holds two adults well! Sort of cradles you so you don't feel like you're going to tip over and fall off (and perfect for snuggling). The design I bought is rainbow stripes and it's beautiful. Really great quality hammock! Very durable. It also comes with a carrying bag so you can travel with it! This is important for me because I'll be taking it camping and in and out of my backyard once the weather gets nicer. Very convenient! This is my first hammock so I don't have much to compare it to oher than those that family members have had but I am a very picky consumer. This hammock is far better than any my family members have had- and the price is totally worth it. I recommend this and would definitely buy it again! Of course, as I put it to use outside and on defferent terrain (grass, forrest floor, etc.) I will update with any new info I have! :)

I was skeptical with this purchase as it was an end of season lightening deal and seemed too good to be true. However, I absolutely love it!Pros: hammock and stand for a great price, decent quality fabric in both color and weave, easily detachable so it doesn't sit out in elements, large size hammock that you can settle down into without feeling like you're about to be dumped over, storage bag for overwintering / transport, easy assembly, very comfortable. Heavy / thin - tall / short; this hammock is definitely a one size fits all; everyone in my family has tried it. 90 to 230 lbs - 4'11" to 6'4"Cons: My biggest issue is the location of the bolts across the bottom. They're hard plastic discs on top of metal threads, which could easily break considering location, and the unit literally rests on top of them, making it clunk from side to side with even the slightest movement. I've put 1/2" boards under all four feet and this has eliminated the problem. I do have it sitting on a cement porch and not the grass. With the way the bolts jut out I figured they would become caked in dirt and possibly break, making them almost impossible to remove for disassembly / for the overall stability of the unit. Also, the locations of the hammock settings (how low you want to be / how tight you want the hammock to be) are limited, and it does hang very low because it is so long, and this can cause the ropes to rub against the backside of the positioning hooks if you aren't centered properly.Even at regular price this unit is well worth it, and I plan on buying another one as my husband and I both enjoy it. You would be hard pressed to find just the stand for the price I paid, (about $10 off) so to get the stand and a decent hammock was a huge score in my opinion, and I LOVE it!

Purchased this a year ago, so I've had a good chance to use it some.Initial setup was really very easy, took me about 20 minutes the first time. Now I can get it setup in less than 10 minutes very easily.Everything fits back in the carrying case easily. I have had a difficult time figuring out the proper way to get everything back in so that the metal frame pieces aren't digging into my back as I carry it around though.It has held up very well. Used it with two people quite often, but the two of us add up to about 260 lbs. combined. It actually works, at least for me, with two of us in there better than one. When I get in by myself, the sides fold up around me and it is like being wrapped in a cocoon. Think I'm going to try and design some wooden pieces to keep the ropes spread out for single use. With two people, we keep it spread open just about right. Very stable for a hammock, comfortable with two, comfortable with one if it's a little cool out.

Absolutely love my hammock! So easy to put together and doesn't take up alot of space. Definitely worth the money and I like the to go bag that comes with it if you want to bring it with you. Bought it for my balcony so I can relax outside and pretend I'm a tamale.
