My hammy, Honey, loves this little cave. she hides in it often and it helps her feel very secure. I love that it's incredibly sturdy, considering it's half a coconut shell. The mossy top adds a nice natural feel to her cage that helps mimic a true hammy environment. Honey is a winter white hamster, so she's not a big as a syrian hamster.... I'm not sure a syrian would fit well in this, depending on the size of the hamster. But I definitely recommend this for every dwarf hamster!

My hedgie thinks this coconut casa was designed just for him. I tried to introduce him to something bigger, but he ran back to this and smooshed his little fat body in it, wears it and drags around like he thinks he’s a turtle or a snail, etc. It’s his favorite! Five stars from Bruce Quillis!

It does shed a lot of moss so I recommend oppening the product inside of your hamsters enclosure, but other than that my hamster absolutely loves it and she likes to do a bit of gardening by removing some of the moss and spreading it all over hahaha
