Our large Syrian hamster, Jerry put his bedding inside and likes to sleep and chews on the wood some. He doesn't come out the top often unless I put a treat up there - was worth the buy. Great quality!

I have a Chinese Dwarf Hamster, and she adores this little house. She has several hides in her terrarium, but this is the one she prefers. She's nibbled at it slightly (likely out of affection), but it's holding up well. I will say that the pieces do slide apart over time, but you can easily prop them up. And it'll be good as new as soon as I figure out a hamster-safe repair. She's so light, though, it's really a non-issue. I would happily repurchase!

Not sure if he’s living in it - hard to tell with all the shavings - but I got it for him to store food or lay inside. Looks great in person. Good quality wood without any smell or rough edges.
