This is an absolutely fantastic little transport cage for our pet rats. It was easy to assemble and easy to clean. I will say, the lid can be a little bit of a challenge to get open, but not enough to knock points off. This is a TRANSPORT ONLY cage though. PKEASE DO NOT USE THIS AS A PROMARY CAGE FOR ANY RODENT!

I couldn't use this for transportation. It was just asking for the hamster to escape. Don't really have a use for it now.

I added a perch and used this travel cage for a parakeet. It kept her safe and secure for our long drive. She actually seemed to enjoy it.

We used this cage on a state to state move for our rather large hamster. It was a bit tight for her, but not too bad. The only problem was the sliding door on the front. She was able to open it and get out. We were able to fix this with a suction cup latch we had on hand. Other than that it worked great as a temporary house for our move.

My daughter uses this cage to travel with her dwarf hamster. Its great for a short term use. Just make sure all openings are closed securely. I recommend this product

This is decent. I use this when my daughter and I need to house her hamster when we clean it's cage.It is a little challenging to assemble as the wires are flimsy and they really want to bend when trying to shove them into the base tray and the wire door is ridiculous and really difficult to attach.Once assembled (which took about an hour since I had to keep reshaping the wire sides), it did hold up well and it works for it's intended purpose, cleaning her hamster cage. I would not consider using this a permanent cage or even for travelling as it is really unstable. The plastic is thick and the hamster can't seem to chew through it, so that's good, but it is really too flimsy to use this to carry your pet.I wouldn't recommend this. A box is a lot cheaper and probably more stable.

I bought this to use for use when I clean my rat's main cage. It's a good temporary cage but for any animal that would chew through it it cannot be a permanent one.
