I really like this platform but I have a few issues. One of the legs doesn’t screw in all the way. It still stands the platform up, it just may wiggle a little. It would also be nice if the stairs didn’t have a big gap from the top of the stairs to the actual platform, I wish it could be connected directly to the stairs. I fear my dwarf hamster could get their foot caught in the gap.

I bought this for my small parrot, she is a Green Cheek Conure, just a little smaller than a cockatiel, and she loves it. She is a special needs birds, she has a neurological disease that makes her too unsteady on her feet to perch. So I opted to buy her this, which gave her something to “perch†on, without the worries of her falling off. She absolutely loves it, and has been chewing on it, without any problems. Because of her illness, her digestive system is really sensitive. She has not showed any symptoms of toxicity from chewing in the wood.It’s important to note, that I only let her use it under my supervision. I have had no issues with the product.Key points about this ramp/stand:- Was very easy to put together, no tools needed.-Lightweight, but sturdy.- The ramp comes off easily if bumped into, but not while my bird was standing on it. I feel that this is important to note, as if an animal were to crawl under the ramp, it would not get stuck. The ramp would move upward and out of the way, or it would become unhooked/dislodged. Because it is made out of light wood, the animal should not be hurt, if the ramp were to fall on top of them.

Pro: Sturdy, overall safe for your pet.Cons: every piece but the legs had to be sanded, I used a big nail file for the same effect. Its not big enough to fit more than a sand bath or water dish on top. There's a pretty big gap between the platform and the bridge and my dwarf hamsters feet kept slipping into the gap. Also, the bridge is too steep without adding a few inches of bedding to raise it, which lowers the height of the platform over all.

I really love the fact that this product has screw on legs! I can't really tell if it's a hamster or a pig, but either way, it's so cute. It definitely needs sanding - as shown in the pictures I took. I would suggest sanding it and then wiping it off a couple of times with a wet paper towel. On the eyes and nose holes, the holes go right through, and that could possibly be a hazard for a hamsters leg to get stuck. To fix this, you could jam a small wadded up piece of paper towel! Other than the fact that this needs to be sanded, it does it's job and I feel like the divets in the design could also act as a type of foraging toy as well!

Easy to set up, good quality. Decent sized for our hamster pen which is pretty big.
