I purposely bought them to store my harvest of carrots with dry leaves. Nothing else was big enough. These are perfect. I'm sure they'd be fine for rice, but I didn't need/want them for that. Thanks.

Great option for storing rice. If you are concerned about bugs making into the container don't is air tight . Loving the wheels makes it easy to use and move. (Hint: Add a couple star anise to the container and won't have to worry about and bugs.)

I received a bread maker for my birthday in March and have been baking bread nearly every day since then. So, I needed something to hold the large bags of flour that I purchase at Costco or Sam's. The second one holds rice - big bags also purchased at Costco or Sam's. They keep the products fresh, are easy to clean, and easily roll from the pantry to the kitchen when I use them. Would buy again.

Product is not airtight. I had high hopes as I assembled them but the lids fit loose and I could fit my hand past the seal. Returning for a refund.
