This hold puncher is exactly what I needed for making custom badges. The mechanics are nice and smooth when you go to punch and works like a charm. There's honestly not much else to add onto it. For it's price, I'm actually glad I went with this. You get what you asked for, and it's pretty well built.

Tried to punch through laminated paper and it jams every other card. No way to release it without damaging the paper and jamming a screwdriver into the door that doesn't open very far. After the 5th time it jammed, part of it broke and i don't even know what piece it is. Will not recommend

It would be nice to have a graduated scale on the side of the mouth to know how much space you are leaving between the edge of the card and the hole.

Used this to make slots in name tags for a Bible Study group. Made over 70 tags without a discard. It is well made and has a guide that is really fool proof. Glided thru two layers of paper that had been laminated with ese. Great product. Worth the price (which really was not bad)
