So, I decided to create "archways" on selected passage-ways within the house. The purpose, is it's more elegant & removes the "cheap" approach that many homes were built by. The sander is really handy for this type of work, as well as any other tasks that require "free-hand" sculpting, or for just ease of access to the workpiece!

It's nice to have a larger sanding drum size for working on larger pieces. Until now, I had the rotary tool size, and some smaller sizes like 2" long for drills. These here are a nice long 4.5" long, and this allows you to work curves that are on wider pieces, like refinishing an antique dresser. You get two pieces of both a coarse 80 grit and 120 grit sanding sleeve in both sizes. It's enough to get you started, and refills are easy to find because it seems to be a relatively common size. The sleeve stays on the drum and doesn't slip, just be sure to tighten it, and they include a wrench for that. It's a good kit, and am glad to now have this larger size.
