Although it doesn’t have a huge screen or color screen, it is small enough to fit in your tackle box and it’s easy to use, I though the instructions were decent. I was able to load the batteries and set up what functions to use in a few minutes. If you are looking for a value, something that works, buy this. If you want to drop triple the cash for something that does the same thing, then go ahead. Maybe if I owned my own boat I would spend more on the larger screen ones. But for a week fishing trip every year where I use the resorts boat and motor, this will do just fine. Only knock on it is I wish it came with a suction cup mount, instead off just the permanent mount.

I just got this handy little gadget yesterday 7/28/23 and used it for 6 hours on my kyak 7/29/23 and it does exactly what I needed it to do, I'm strictly catfish and use suspend bait off the side of my kyakIt's very easy to use just read the instructions and your set to goI'm investing in rechargeable batteries for sure, it sets off a beeping sound when the fish are close by only thing is I have it mounted on one side of my kyak and it will still let you know that fish are in the area, I really like the depth finder that's what was most important thingI highly recommend this awesome little gadget for the fisherman with a tight budget
