Used the adhesive pad and the suction cup and it stuck to the wall great! I adjusted height each time I was in the shower and repeated movement did not affect the adhesion. After a few months it was still very firmly attached. With as hard as it was to get off, I'm sure it would have stayed firmly stuck to the shower wall as long as I needed it to.When I eventually removed it (no longer needed) I used a putty knife so as not to damage the shower wall. It took some effort to get it off as it was really stuck on well. However when did get it off, all the adhesive stuck to the suction cup, not my wall. No adhesive cleanup was needed! I put the suction cup on a piece of paper (so it didn't stick elsewhere), and put the parts away for future use.The adjusting mechanism was great! It kept the shower head where I needed it, no matter which position I used.

I'll admit that it's my fault that I didn't understand that this was primarily an ADHESIVE mount.When I first attempted to mount it, I had not removed the clear plastic film on the pad, and it did not stick, even to a mirror, thus my 1-star "suction" rating. I then removed the plastic film and attached it to my shower wall, not realizing that it was an adhesive pad that was providing the mount with the means to stick to the wall. I later tried to relocate it to a different bathroom and that's when I found out that that the primary means of adhesion is the adhesive.It can not be moved and work.As a 1 time mount, it works well. I had to return a previous (from a different company) mount because it would not fit my shower wand. This one does fit...and it holds well, via the adhesive pad.I'll likely use 3M adhesive tape to re-attach this to my shower.

We use several of these suction cup shower head holders, towel bars, robe hooks. Most stay in place for months, none stay in place for years. But I find them useful. This particular item did not stick to the tile at all, the same tile that we are using for other suction cup towel bars. I pressed it against the clean tile, turned it all the way, and nothing. It may be a great product, but this one is defective. Returned.

With all the negativity about this wand holder I was a little apprehensive about this, I am glad I purchased it as it works great.

I chose this product for its functionality and because in the product description it said it was metal. I had a bad experience with another plastic product that cracked when I tried to adjust it. When this arrived I learned it was all plastic so I am very disappointed but will keep using it in hopes this one will not crack either. This one has the ability to adjust it in more directions so I am going to keep it but felt buyers need to be aware that it is not as described.

Please note that the material states "‎Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene". This product is a type of plastic that has a chrome finish. It was very easy to peel and stick the backing, then twist the dial for suction to lock it into place. It does come with an extra sticky pad in case you want to change the location later on. So far, so good. I love it! It's great for those of us who can't reach way up there hahaha.

Delivery was absolutely as advertised. This showerhead holder was extremely easy to install on my smooth tiled wall. The adhesive assisted suction fitting is very firm and after 4 weeks of use remains firmly in place.The 3-position adjustment enables us to find the perfect shower angle and then return the showerhead to its vertical position. A great addition to our bathroom. I thoroughly recommend this fitting.

I needed to hang our spray shower head lower for bathing dogs. This works perfectly to move it to the right height.

We didn’t expect it to be so light and made out of plastic, we still did use it thought and it’s been up for almost a year. It has held up and it does exactly what we wanted it for.
