(Really deserves five stars, but I don't trust five star reviews on Amazon anymore--I look at the three and four stars.) Handicapped placards can break; this is sturdy with possible multiple uses and easy to use. After more than ten years using handicapped placards, I've decided to finally bite the bullet and get the plates when my current registration expires in November. The idea of doing that always meant that I was somehow giving up and admitting that my mobility will never be great. So when my current placard broke beneath the hanging hole, I decided to look for a holder that I could use for other things when I don't need it for the placard. This fits the bill--great for placard holding, but also can hold pens, paperwork and other things--even CDs. (What can I say, my car is 19 years old, purchased new and with less than 75K miles on it).

It is easy to put around the sun visor and the handicap placard fits perfectly. Prevent you from having the placard hanging from the rearview mirror when you are driving, which is illegal in most states.

My placard kept tearing where it doesn't fit properly around the wider rear-view mirror post. I have taped it and laminated it several times. When I saw this protector, I thought it must be worth a try. It was easy to slide the placard in and then attach the protector to the visor. It seems to be completely visible from outside the vehicle. It works just fine. I hope it is legal in my state that says to hand placard on rear-view mirror!!

I had to get a sticker that says "look at the visor. Blue badge" as its great to flip down but apparently... they "couldn't see it".I do recommend the product but I unclip one side and push it closer to the window not had one since.

I have a Chevy Traverse which is a large SUV. The holder just fits on the sun visor. I had to pull hard to get it on. Looks nice, easily handles the permit. Lots of space.The credit card slot is a nice thought
