Soft. I don't use tissues, so these are great alternative. I'm not ironing to use as pocket squares. Good size. They get softer with washing.

My husband uses the wrinkles resistant handkerchiefs and he puts 2 a day in his pockets, since they don't wrinkle, he doesn't want them folded. Less work for me and less hassle for him and very durable, thickness is perfect and a great size ,not like the huge ones that are so bulky. Thank you for your time and I am sure they-can save you a few step also.

Exactly what I wanted... Justin Timberlake sang about bringing sexy back, but apparently my body is bringing snotty back. Finding these plain white oldmankerchiefs made for an immediate purchase for me. They appear to be 100% cotton. While wrinkle resistant,perhaps, they will crease.There were quite a few loose threads here and there, but nothing that's seems to affect the quality. These are extremely thin (all the ones I saw elders using back in the olden days were too, and I believe it to be more comfortable on the nose, as well as more convenient to fold and carry). Nice to have bought the large pack, so I can always have fresh clean ones on the ready. Bonus points for less paper waste! They have held up to 2 washes so far quite well.
