The dark natural wood color is created from soaking the reeds and allowing them to dry. This time honored process is essential as it naturally finishes the baskets appearance.
🌱 SKILLFULLY CRAFTED: Thai orchids are world renown and this “Siam style” basket has been used for ages as the best way to nurture draping floras. As these baskets are dried a faint hint of the charred scent is innate to the fabricated cane sedge.
🌱 HAND WOVEN: Individually handcrafted and designed to endure daily use, these multi-functional plant hangers adorn the garden walls and entrance ways to many Thai Temple gardens and are functionally designed to allow water to drain even if drenched in a monsoon rain. The metal hanger will fade to an oxidized patina over time that will also match the color of the dark reeds.

For export, we insure there are no harmful chemicals used in sterilizing the reeds, they are placed in a wood fired oven that heats the reeds and sterilizes the material. This process can sometimes leave the basket with a slight campfire like smell. If you experience this, place the basket outdoors and let it air, the wood smoke scent will decline and disappear.

These are so cute and very well made.I bought to hang my orchid in my shower and it has been thriving.Can't wait for it to bloom!No assembly required.Great value for handmade natural products.Plastic free and lightweight.

These are just the right size for a 2x2 inch pot. The only issue I have is, with watering the plant, as any excess will drip to whatever is below! I solved this by wrapping some cling wrap around the pot. You can't even see the plastic wrap. I didn't want to add dirt, again for same issue with watering. They would be perfect for a cactus or extremely dry succulent as well. Love these little baskets and they hang on the curtain rod in my bay window. It was simple to adjust the wire to hang. Highly recommend!

I bought these as a gift for someone who has lots of orchids. They werenâ€™t really what I expected, they look neater in the photos. Very easy to use, sturdy and easy to drain. Perfect planter size for an orchid. I donâ€™t feel I paid too much for these planters but I wouldnâ€™t buy them again.
