I had purchased a few neck straps for my saxophones from M&G Leather Work, so when I saw they had a stick bag, I was very interested. We needed another stick bag and I didn't want to purchase another cheap VF bag. The M&G bag is so well made and beautiful. I was able to close the bag and fully zip it shut with everything shown in the photo. It's a bit tight for the marimba mallets and the marching sticks, but they do fit (and I'm not sure I'd want this out in a marching environment anyway). For shorter sticks & jazz brushes, you'd probably be able to fit even more inside. The zipper quality seems very good and I like the option of being able to open the top of the bag with the horizontal zipper. It obviously doesn't open easily with the tallest of sticks in there, but seems like a minor issue at this point. It also has two elastic cords on each side of the bag that can be used to hang the bag while open (that can easily be replaced if they wear out over time). I think this is a good feature for concert scenarios where the black leather bag will blend in nicely. Of course percussion is usually in the back of the ensemble, but for smaller performances I think it looks really nice. I also like that there isn't a huge company logo plastered across the bag but rather a simple stamped logo just like on their neck straps. Finally, there's also a drum key hanger included. I don't need to carry a drum key with me but since it's built with a swivel hook attached to a piece of leather with snaps on it so you could basically use it to hang the bag from just about anything if needed. I really like the look and functionality of this bag. It will last a really long time. If it were just an inch longer, it could easily accommodate longer marching sticks without the tips being at the very top of the bag. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a nice stick bag that will last you a very long time!

I recently gifted this to our church drummer and high school music teacher. The color and the leather work are quite nice. It looks great and does a great job! He currently has a pair of Vic Firth SD1 generals in there. It is a nice product for a pair of drumsticks and is of high quality. The yellow color rocks!
