These *would be* the nicest bells I've seen on Amazon, except for two things. First, though, to give them credit where it's due... They are anything but chintzy looking and are solidly, beautifully made. I love the dimpled look. They make a pleasant sound, too, although it's all the same tone (woulda been cool if it differed - like a windchime). The craftsmanship of the bells is lovely. HOWEVER... Quite inexplicably, mine came with tiny splotches of grass-green paint on all four of the bells..... It was extremely hard to photograph, but look closely if you are curious. It can be found within the dimples as well as on the gold surface. Maybe I'm being picky, but I don't understand why green needed to be used at all.. You can really only see it if you're looking closely, so I will still use them for decorating.The other unfortunate detail is that the knots that secure each bell to the jute have been globbed with hot glue in a very un-subtle way. Looks really tacky, in my opinion. I'm going to ditch the jute it came with and use some macrame cord instead.Despite those complaints, though, I still am very happy to have these, and I think the price is extremely fair, considering the quality of these. They'll be lovely for Christmas!

Perfect for the door handle! The sound is not too loud, the quality of the merchandise doesn't scratch the door, and my elderly mother is very pleased.

I got these to put on my doorknob, with the idea of teaching my puppy to ring them when he needed to go outside. That training is ongoing, but the bells look lovely on the door, and their ring is a lovely note. They don't sound like traditional Christmas bells--which is perfect for my purposes.

Great product for the price! I’ve seen the same item of lesser quality listed for much more in boutiques
