These are very sturdy and look great. The price is also good. I bought some more expensive ones that arrived damaged due to the way they were packaged. Returned those and ended up ordering these. These were all individually packed in bubble wrap and in great shape when they arrived. Installation was easy. I do recommend pre-drilling your holes if you're doing it yourself.

I have steps off my bedroom sliding glass doors to get down to the deck. I didn’t want to drill a ledger board into the house so I used these handrail brackets to stop the top step from wobbling by connecting them to the 2x4 and the step below. It worked like a charm. I needed a small footprint and this was just the right size. The small L brackets were too flimsy for the 6 foot long step. Now there’s no movement whatsoever.

These are are nice heavy duty bracket . As long as you have strong bolts these will hold the rail firm
