This wall-mountable handrail is a game-changer! It’s sturdy, well-made, and provides excellent support. Installation was straightforward, and it feels incredibly secure once mounted. The sleek design blends well with any decor, making it both functional and stylish. Perfect for added safety on stairs or in high-traffic areas. Highly recommend!

I read the reviews and knew that I would have to find studs to install this securely. I used extra long drywall screws and pre-drilled holes into the studs next to my door. I threw away the screws that came with the unit. It is nice and secure now. Probably would still not hold, a 250 pound person, but I don’t weigh anywhere near that and I really just want it for stability as I am going up and down my garage stairs. Overall, it was a good purchase.

Sturdy handrails that I use to exit 2 steps into the garage from the house. I like everything about the handrails except for the fact that if the handrail itself becomes loose from the wall plate, you have to remove the entire wall plate to tighten the screws. That’s a problem if you used toggle bolts or something else that once unscrewed are wasted as the bolt will fall behind the wall. In any case, I like the handrails and I hope the heat and cool cycles in my garage don’t loosen the screws and I have to take it all apart.

More dimensions on the pictures would be helpful for determining if this rail would work in my situation, fortunately they did. The rail attaches to the back plate with a large Phillips head screw, it would be better if these were hex head screws to aid in tightening. Even though I tightened these screws as much as possible with a large Phillips screw driver there is still a slight wobble, the best solution would be for the manufacturer to weld the rail to the back plate rather than use screws. Obviously they used screws to reduce the shipping package size. Overall the rails are pretty sturdy and easy to install. I screwed the rail directly to a short 16" piece of 2 X 8 which in turn was screwed to the wall studs through the sheet rock with 4" star head deck screws. I did not use the screw anchors supplied for the sheet rock, as mentioned in other reviews toggle bolts would be better if you are trying to attach the rail to sheet rock. I used 2 rails one on each side of the stairs for my wife after her knee surgery.

This rail is a 15 minute installation. Simply mark and drill pilot holes, screw hand rail to mounting plate, mount to wall. When attaching the hand rail to the mounting plate, tighten the screws as tightly as you possibly can. If you don't, the hand rail will be wiggly. Experience is a hard teacher, like having the test before having the lesson. I hand to take it off the wall and really tighten the hand rail to mounting plate bolts. This rail is a good product, stable when properly installed and no post at the bottom to bang your walker or cane on.

The handrail seems sturdy but the handrail is not reinforced enough for support. It detached itself from the housing bracket when weight was placed on it. Very dangerous.

This is not as long as it seems in the photograph. Make sure to measure and look at product specs before ordering.
