I bought 2 more after using this one for a month. It's so easy to load the threads and swap the bobbins to change colors. Easy to load. The hook is a great size. Definitely my favorite shuttle.

I saw this shuttle and decided to try it out. The shuttle is well made and should hold up for a long time. The bobbin is unique and you can use it or just wind the thread on the center post. I used the bobbin. It was easy to wind thread on and when I placed it in the shuttle, it seemed to have a good seal. There are magnets to keep the 2 halves of the shuttle together and those seem to be strong enough to keep both halves together.I tried tatting with the shuttle and it fits in my hand nicely and you can wind or unwind thread very easily.I will buy more shuttles as I think I’ll be using this type more often.

I have wanted to try one of these for a while. I love the way it opens and closes with a magnet. Removing the bobbin is so easy and I can see where this design prevents the stretching that occurs with other design where you just force the bobbin in and out. Winding the bobbin is also made easier because you can put the bobbin on the holder to wind it, achieving a more even wind as your fingers are not in the way of the thread. It is a little larger than other shuttles that have a round bobbin so I have had to adjust the way I hold it in order for the hook not to catch the thread, so there is a learning curve. I have small hands so for others or depending on how you hold your shuttle this may not even be an issue.

Beautiful and whole lots of threads but too slippery to hold. Preferred to put some patterns at both ends so my thumb and pointer can hold on to it♡

I like the concept of this shuttle. My only complaint is that it is a little bulky, but that's a personal preference.

On the expensive end of this basic tool that is used for centuries- magnetic hold is a very nice twist.
