Hanes is his favorite brand of quality under garments. We like Hanes because they are soft, durable, launder easy and doesn't chaft around waist, legs and private areas. The price is comparable to other brands, but the quality of the material beats others hands down.

These are good briefs. Just know that the cut is very low on the bottom end. Think briefs from the 1960's or 70's. That being said, they are very comfortable and seem to be high quality. The waist band looks like it will hold up for a long time and they offer a lot of support.
