My son climbs and wanted one of these to up his game. He originally asked for another one from England… more expensive. That was OOS so I got him this one for Christmas thinking he could return and get the other if he wanted.He kept this one after looking at the build quality and features. His buddy has that other one and also likes this one better.

Bought for my son and his girlfriend, both serious climbers. They appreciate all the different holds to practice. Durable and easy to mount.

I mounted a 2"X6" board into studs on the wall above a doorway in my house and then mounted this hangboard to that board using the screws provided. The hangboard is going quality. I definitely have a long way to go before being able to use most of the pockets and grips. I like that a resistance band can be wrapped around the bottom bar for assistance. Good addition to climbing training at home. The mounting screws are a nice heavy weight and plenty long, but I'm not a fan of Phillips heads for this type of application.

I have wanted a wooden hangboard for so long but the beastmaker always seemed like the wrong choice for me. I used to use a Metolius hangboard that I got from REI and that was alright but always hurt my skin to use for too long. Then I found the YY Vertical wooden hangboard and it seemed like an even better option than the beastmaker, so I decided to purchase it. This thing is not only better than the beastmaker, it has so much more you can do with it, and I've used beastmakers at my gym multiple times. The wood that this hangboard is made out of is fantastic, it feels super sturdy and comfortable to hold onto. I not only train finger strength on this thing I also use it for pull ups and chin ups when I am doing my training. The coolest thing about this board is the magnetic pieces on the side that can be put into all of the non-sloped normal holds to decrease the depth, which nearly doubles the amount of holds on the thing. This hangboard is simply incredible. It was easy to put up, doesn't tear up my skin, lets me train how I want and has some things that would be awesome to see on some more popular boards that for some reason just aren't there. The handle in the middle is awesome to put a band through for assisted pull ups or even if you want to do tricep extensions, face pulls, reverse flys, etc and don't already have somewhere to attach or wrap around a resistance band. It's like they thought of everything with this board, and I sincerely think it'll be my last hangboard for a long while unless someone comes up with some other new innovative design. Now all I need is somewhere to put some pinches to practice that and I'll be set for the rest of my climbing journey.

Even my grandma could do it, and she still struggles with her VHS player.The other day, my buddy came over and said, "Dude, you're looking more shredded than a Julian salad!" I really like how well this hangboard is made. It's made of solid wood, and is very smooth and well sanded. The various holds work well and feel quite nice even holding my body weight.Installation can be a challenge, since this does need to be bolted directly into studs, or at least some type of solid wood structure.I installed this by first screwing a piece of hardwood into the studs in my drywall, then screwing this into that piece of hardwood. That seemed to work well and it is very sturdy.

Le acabo de regalar este hangboard a mi pareja y parece increÃble. Es precioso, los acabados están genial.Solo dirÃa que la parte imantada cuesta mucho de entrar, pero igual es porque se tiene que dar de sà la madera.Aun asÃ, creo que tiene una presentación muy cuidada, un packaging perfecto.Nosotras lo utilizaremos mucho, eso seguro, estamos contentÃsimas con nuestra compra.Creemos que el nivel es a partir de un 5B, o sea que incluso servirÃa para entrenar fuerza principiante.ContentÃstimas!

Mega Teil. Ist nicht zu groß, erfüllt aber absolut meine Erwartungen. Leicht zum Anbringen. Sieht, finde ich auch recht nett in der Wohnung aus, zumal es dezent über dem Türstock angebracht werden kann. Absolute Kaufempfehlung, für alle, die auch beim "Vorbeigehen" ein paar Klimmzüge machen wollen. Preis/Leistung passt.

Good quality! and fit nicely above the door frame, I didn't have enough room for a Beastmaker or one of there many clones due to low ceilings.My only complaint is it didn't come with wall plugs! For £100+ i would expect it to. This would be fine though if you intend to screw it into wood. Only had it up for 3 weeks so can't say how long it will last but it feels like it will.

Une vraie alliée pour évoluer et repousser ses limites en escalade !Maintenant trouver le lieu où l’installer 😉🤔
