Your cart is empty. The Haoge 49mm Ultra Slim MC UV Filter is a general use, clear filter designed to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight to give clearer pictures with less haze.
To prevent internal ghosting and reflections while providing over 99.8% light transmission, glass surface includes Multi-layers of anti-reflection coating.
This UV filter is also useful as a general protective filter to leave on lenses at all times. It helps to reduce dust and moisture from reaching your front lens element and provide additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratching could occur.

I've purchased 2 of these for separate Canon Vixia camcorders.The threaded ring is 43mm, and fits perfectly.The filter easily threads on, perfect threads, no binding, and can be snugged on very securely.Delivered in retail styled packaging, with protective plastic case lined with dense foam, the little filter looks nice enough to be given as a gift - if anyone would give a cheap (affordable) filter as a gift.For my use, I needed to protect the camera lenses from dirt and debris in a wood & metal shop setting.I've done some quick initial tests to determine if the filter would cause any color shift or distortion to the image. I have found NO issue.Very pleased!Why can't all my purchases like this?

Unfortunately, I cannot attest to the quality of this product as it is not compatible with my camera. I misunderstood this based on the reviews. I'm sharing this information to help other fellow X100VI photographers avoid the same mistake.

Overall happy with picking this up. Does not affect photos in any visible way plus it actually is slim and I can mount a lens hood over it pretty comfortably.

It came dirty out of the box, I spent a good time cleaning before install on my lens, and still not quite clean. The package also does not come with a simple microfiber cloth as many other brands has it, that would be a nice touch, especially if they cant ensure that the product will come clean from the factory. I'll keep it for now since I didn't have time to test it out yet. It is coated btw so it's a good sign.
