Got this cute little elf front house set up for $6? I think?! Anyway it was perfect, when with the hot cocoa stand printable I did and had lots of great little pieces that can be recombined to make other elf scenes. Also got it overnight which was great too! I did my best to only show this item since we had other things not a part of this lot in the scene. **The item in the back of the scene is not a part of the set.**

I got this set for part of an advent calendar that I do for my kids. It's a really cute set with a lot of different elements to it. I like how there are so many different materials used. I was unclear about the door (I thought it might be foam), but it's nicer than that. Some type of wood composite. I'm not sure how you are supposed to put the sign up. It comes with sticky dots, so maybe you are supposed to stick it on the wall. It won't stand up on its own. Mine was cut with an error, but I plan to trim it off with heavy duty scissors. The photos show laying the footprints stencil down, but I think it would be cuter to make little white (snow) footprints going up to the door with it.

I thought it would be a nice surprise, to add this to the woodwork close to my tree. I never tried to explain how the elf got in the house, to my granddaughter. I wonder how long it will take her to notice.

Very good quality. Will work perfect for our 1/40 scale Christmas house. Or would work great for a Christmas fairy door on the base of a wall!
