We had to take it out of and not use it too close to the bird bath; the birds don't care for it much. It comes with an extra nozzle. The mist is nice.

In an effort to find a method to provide outdoor cooling, I have tried several types of misting systems. Of those, this one has the best misting head. It produces the finest mist, the fewest large droplets that fall out of the air to wet the surface below, and the best cooling for the amount of water used. If your primary use is for cooling an area without getting the surfaces below wet, this is your best bet.If there is a detractor, it's the bendable hose being a non-standard size. However, the fitting at the end has a slip-in reducer that takes a standard 1/4" OD tubing. If you leave the fittings attached to the bendable hose, the feed tubing can be swapped out and connected to longer tubing or a feed line from a larger misting system.These heads are unlike most misting systems. The head presses into the fitting rather than being threaded in. The head itself contains several pieces to enhance the mist capability, not simply a small plate and pinhole. It can be easily disassembled for cleaning. Be careful when doing so - there are small parts inside. Fortunately, the system comes with two heads - I didn't realize the internal parts weren't connected and dropped one of the internal pieces.

I couldn't be more displeased with this product. Doesn't matter what we do including shrink wrap connections and it still leaks. Don't buy!

I was surprised by how small this was when I opened it, but it works very well. It connected to my hose easily with no leaks and it put out a nice even mist. Initially, I thought I would use this coiled and standing on the ground. When I saw how small it was, I had to get creative. I tried it out in my chicken coop today, and it worked great, lowering the temperature for them. The tubing is easy to bend, so I just bent the end and stuck it through the top of their chicken wire. Easy peasy! I will also use it on the back patio when we're gone and the dog is out in the heat. Great small mister for the price.

I measured the flow rate of the single nozzle at about 4.2 liters per hour which is 1.1GPH. It comes with a spare nozzle which is nice.Below 40 psi this produces a course mist around 60 psi. It makes a nice fine mist. There is a marking on the nozzle. I’ve included a picture.The only thing I didn’t like was the hose connector is Soft plastic with shallow threads and once it popped off the hose bib under pressure. It’s easy to overtighten which causes it to pop off. But I have lots of other quarter inch tubing to Garden hose adapters so swapped it. Since finding a good quality mister nozzle is always a challenge on Amazon she still gets four stars.
